1979 Wayne Gretzky O-Pee-Chee #18 Autographed Rookie Card
My 1979 Wayne Gretzky O-Pee-Chee #18 Autographed rookie card is finally up for sale! I have personally owned this card since opening the pack back in 1981 myself. I have been fortunate enough to meet Mr. Gretzky on numerous occasions and have had many pieces of memorabilia signed by him. On this occasion, in November of 1991 while recovering from a back injury sustained in the 1991 Canada Cup, Mr. Gretzky was doing promotional work at the Metro Toronto Convention Center for the upcoming Grey Cup being played later that month. I was lucky enough to not only meet him again and have my card autographed black Sharpie still in his hand! But also get a picture with him included here. The card shows with crisp and clear corners and no creases or blemishes of any kind! It has recently come back from PSA with an almost perfect signature grade Mint 9, see pictures, and is confirmed/verified in their database at PSAcard.
